Paul's posture before Felix — a clean conscience is the foundation of bold witness. That's the order. Conscience first, then courage.

“The children of Israel gave an inheritance among them to Joshua the son of Nun. According to the word of the Lord they gave him the city which he asked for.”

Joshua divided the land for every tribe before he took his own. Leader last. That's the pattern the Father is still writing — and it's the one I'm asking for grace to follow as an elder in Reuben.
